Antique Majolica Pineapple Teapot or Coffee Pot ON SALE

I do not know much on the background of this piece. I believe it was made in England in the mid 1800's. It was most likely intended as a coffee pot as there is no vent hole in the lid which most teapots have. It has stood the test of time quite well - I don't see any chips or cracks. There appears to be some crazing on the inside of the pot. Check out my other interesting and eclectic items. Thanks for looking and good luck.
