ENVE partnered with F1 aerodynamicist Simon Smart to develop the rim shapes, depths and widths that best match the all around purpose of each model of ENVE wheels. Whether you are cruising on the flats, climbing or descending, the SES 4.5 wheel system is capable of producing very low drag numbers similar to competing 60mm+ deep wheels while creating a higher stability in windy conditions. ENVE carbon rims are proven proprietary molded 100% in Utah, USA with continual UD fibers, molded spoke holes and brake track utilizing the latest in resin technology for maximum strength, heat dissipation and braking modulation in wet or dry conditions.
